- South African star DESIREE lands at Colour Factory with her party concept MMINO, hosting artists Dlala Thukzin and Emmanuel Jal for a night of soulful, deep and Afro house.
- South African deep house star DESIREE brings her MMINO event concept to London for a day & night takeover of Colour Factory in Hackney Wick this May bank holiday Friday. MMINO means ‘music’ in siPedi, the language of the Basotho people South Africa. DESIREE has always had a strong connection to her African roots and with dancing to soulful music. MMINO operates a strict no phone policy. Ditch the distractions, elevate your soul. This is where music matters. Everyone is welcome. No labels, no limits. Leave your differences at the door. DESIREE has carefully curated the line up and invited fellow South African Afro House DJ and producer Dlala Thukzin who draws on his Gqom and Amapiano backgrounds, South Sudanese Emmanuel Jal who's riding the wave of a string of high profile releases including "Gorah" & "Hustla" and local London tastemakers Laelo Black & malix. Pre-sale tickets go on Friday 12th April at 12pm, exclusively to those who sign up.
