We are back at our favourite spot on April 20th for another fabulous evening of great records, food, wine, dancing, laughs and so much more.
Our special guest this month is none other than top record collector and even better selector - Chris Wheatley!! Chris has spent 30 years immersed in the world of DJing and record collecting, he’s a resident at Bump n Hustle in the UK, and makes regular appearances at Spiritland and Up on the Roof in London.
His DJ journey has taken him to Switzerland (Kasheme), Spain, Germany, The Netherlands (Red Light Radio), and he’s shared the stage with esteemed artists such as Dave Lee, Kenny Dope, Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco, Nightmares on Wax, Dimitri from Paris. Roy Ayers and more. In 2023, Chris made his debut at Love Supreme Festival with Mr Bongo, and We Out Here.
His extensive music collection spans genres such as Boogie, Disco, Electrofunk, Reggae, Funk, Jazz, Latin, House, and Garage, making his sets a delightful journey through diverse musical landscapes.
Get ready for a wide range of sounds and styles from start to finish, just come with an open mind and proper dancing shoes. Chris will be going b2b with Delonte Rivers from open till close and we’re already excited to hear what tunes they draw for.
