Matthias Meyer, who has been the resident DJ at Watergate for a long time and a producer, has progressed his career with defining moments, including a series of acclaimed albums and a worldwide tour.
The artist, based in Berlin, together with Budakid, released his previous work 'Sweet Ease' / 'Hybrid Society' under the Watergate Records label, which rose to number 1 on Beatport Indie Dance towards the end of 2021 and became one of the standout tracks in numerous DJ sets, including WhoMadeWho's BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
Starting his own record label, Strangely Enough, in 2020 with the magnificent 'Strangely Enough' EP, Matthias Meyer delivered his extremely original and powerful 'The Choir' EP to the label in January 2022. Throughout the year, the label will release other publications featuring Matthias Meyer's unique sound as well as other artists who share his vision.
Matthias Meyer's splendid productions and remixes have been supported by many leading DJs such as Pete Tong, Sasha, John Digweed, Annie Nightingale, Anja Schneider, Marco Carola, Maya Jane Coles, Lee Burridge, Rodriguez Jr, Hernan Cattaneo, and BLOND:ISH. Matthias Meyer will be on the backyard secrets stage on Friday, April 12th!
