  • Mutualism and SPRKLBB ignite a dynamic fusion, weaving the vibrant beats of New York City's big room sounds with the avant-garde rhythms of the upstate dance floor. They are back on the road with "Girl You Nasty," a pulsating result of their sonic dialogue, poised to electrify an eclectic array of nightlife scenes across the nation. From iconic clubs to emerging vinyl-centric queer gatherings, the tour promises a damn good time. Mutualism (@bettertriangle) is a multimedia artist based in Buffalo, New York. For over a decade she’s been an active DJ and event organizer of Western New York’s electronic music scene, throwing parties such as Strange Allure and Real Love. She is currently a resident of Buddy Buddy, a queer party hosting top names in underground dance music, and thrown at Buffalo’s historic gay club The Underground. Known locally for her community-focused projects and organizing, her work often skips the club in search of more organic sonic gatherings, including the renegade park party Hernando’s Hideaway among others. She’s collaborated with programs focused on arts as outreach, such as the Buffalo chapter of Walking and Falling, a DJ mentorship program for women and nonbinary people. She tours regularly in North America, and has taken her records for a spin into the hallowed halls of Berghain’s Lab.oratory and Panorama Bar. SPRKLBB (sprklbb) is an all-vinyl DJ and photographer based in New York, hosting intimate club nights at Brooklyn’s Black Flamingo, as well as regular shows on The Lot Radio and London’s Soho Radio. He was the founding resident and programmer for the Ostbahnhof parties in New York and Los Angeles, and has held numerous residencies in Brooklyn at spots like Bossa Nova Civic Club, High+Tight NYC, and The Gateway. A mentee of NYC house duo The Carry Nation, his vinyl sets showcase an eclectic, improvisational sound rooted heavily in the mix, adding a fresh voice to the format. True vinyl historian and fundamental piece of the Baltimore music community, Graham Hatke is back to rock the dance floor. Taking us deep into the morning is a true vinyl historian and fundamental piece of the Baltimore underground community, Graham Hatke. No stranger to stretching speakers, Graham has shared the decks with greats such as DJ Harvey, Teddy Douglas, and Traxx. Whether giving dancers a workout at his own Four Hours of Funk parties, warehouses across the city, or E2-E4 Records, Graham’s guaranteed to field countless song ID requests. Your host, Jacq Jill, known for being as versatile as they are technically talented. Their sets pull from grimy club sounds, joyous house and glistening, liquid sound design. In a word, their sound is thoroughly queer, tapping into dance music’s radical and transformative potential and leading dancers on a psychedelic dreamride.
