- Spring is here, and we’re gearing up for the festivities in the big back yard at Nowadays, basking in the sun and swimming in the waves of those speakers. Mister Sunday returns on Sunday, May 12 and goes every single Sunday until the end of October. Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin will be in the DJ booth most every week, and on the occasions they're not, there'll be some fine folks taking over: Jacky Sommer from Analog Soul, Ariel Zetina, Ron Like Hell, Anz, Carlos Souffront, Devoye, Josey Rebelle, Palms Trax, Soul Summit, and Theo Parrish. All the other things that make the party nice will also be in effect: the food truck, now featuring supreme tacos and Mexican fare from the folks at The Zumbador; the ever expanding greenery of the Nowadays garden; a run of merch, this year designed by Kate Gibb (whose work you may recognize from such pieces as this year's Mister Sunday flyer and from that epic Chemical Brothers cover with the dude rapturously spreading his arms into the air); that post-sunset dance floor installation by Inner Light; and of course, vibes, trees, sun, and tree-sun vibes.
