  • We want to invite all techno fans to a really special evening! The location is the A38, a more than 50-year-old stationary boat on the Danube, which has been a main bastion of the Budapest underground for 20 years, and it is no coincidence that it won the title of "the best club in the world" in the Lonely Planet poll. When you step on board, you will immediately understand why! If you like techno and want something really special and authentic, this is the place for you! The headliner of the evening is none other than one of the emblematic figures of Hungarian techno. DJ Budai has a career of more than three decades behind him, his name is known even by those who are far from this style. He is the alpha and omega of the style, generations grew up on his mix CDs (and even cassettes) released at the end of the 90s. If you ask a 30+ person in Budapest today, they will most likely say that they fell in love with the style thanks to DJ Budai's legendary techno mixes and became forever obsessed with the four quarters. The music on these mixes has forever burned into the ears and hearts of the Hungarian audience. Total catharsis erupts when these songs are played at any party. An example of this is the Funky-Techno-Road-Movie released in 2004. Which is not just a mix, but - as the name suggests - a road movie made from the videos of DJ Budai's tour. It's been 20 years since its release, and it's appropriate to celebrate anniversaries! However, this party will not necessarily be about recalling the past, as groovy sound and funky techno are experiencing a renaissance, with better and better appearances coming out one after the other! The mix disc also features three joint compositions by DJ Budai and his co-author Vic. "Breakin' Rio", "Shake your booty" and "Thats what we call phunky" are among the best-known compositions in Hungarian techno history. The album features music by legendary DJs and producers such as Umek, Danilo Vigorito, Markantonio, Paul Mac and Lenadro Gamez. In addition, the latter will support the event on July 20 with his personal presence, as he will close the program with a tribal techno set unique to him! The carnival atmosphere, constant smiles and non-stop ass shaking are guaranteed! Don't forget your fans at home, because this daytime party will take place on the roof terrace of A38. This means that the music can be played at maximum volume! Which is approx. it is not possible anywhere else in the open air in downtown Budapest. 17:00 -18:00 Vic (Warm Up) 18:00 - 20:00 Budai - Funky Techno (Road Movie Set) 20:00 - 22:00 Leandro Gámez (E) From the description, you can probably already feel that this will be a very special day! If you want a truly authentic program, come here!
