Psytrance superstars Infected Mushroom will perform an exclusive DJ set in Auckland on Friday, 28 June at Studio K-Road.
Infected Mushroom are the biggest name in psytrance, a globally recognised electronic production and dj duo who create absolute mayhem with their legendary high impact shows.
They visit Aotearoa for one night only, presented by AUM New Year’s Festival for the first of our winter events planned.
Since the mid 1990s Infected Mushroom have been at the cutting edge of psychedelic music, have released 14 studio albums and still perform over 100 shows each year - headlining some of the world’s largest electronic festivals. They are world-renowned for their sonic innovations, genre-defying sound, and unrivalled production quality.
Their new album, REBORN, is a collection of reimagined, re-recordings of old fan-favourites from their own 1990s and beyond catalogue, including Release Me, Dancing with Kadafi, and Disco Mushroom, all with fresh production bringing the original concepts back to life in 2024.
This special Matariki night show will be accompanied by the mind-blowing production, sound and visuals from our longtime AUM Festival partners.
