For our debut party, we invite international ambient icon, Special Guest DJ (Berlin), and local ambient superstar, Celes (NY), to take the spotlight.
Perhaps best known as a label head (3XL, xpq?, Experiences Ltd.) and producer (Caveman LSD, uon, xphresh, crimeboys, ++), Special Guest DJ, a.k.a. Shy, is no stranger to both ambient and club music, deconstructing genres and shaping them into something entirely new. Held together by atmospheric explorations, bass and breaks morph into textural swerves and moody breaths that incite dance just as much as introspection.
NY-based producer, Celes, graces us with a rare DJ set. While her own ambient tracks err on the edge of experimental, this dance set is sure to be full of delicate and leftfield surprises.
mush and Blessing open the curtains with a pas de deux then tie it all together for a sharp and twisted finale.
