노르웨이 출신의 Prins Thomas 는 북유럽의 자연을 떠올리게 하는 여유로운 분위기의 Nu-Disco 사운드를 들려준다. 그는 현재 Todd Terje, Lindstrom 과 함께 유럽의 Nu-Disco 씬을 이끌고 있으며, Full Pupp과 Internasjona 두 곳의 레이블에 소속되어 Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas 를 발매하며 언더그라운드 댄스 뮤직씬에 새로운 바람을 불어 넣었다.

Prins Thomas는 DJ로서의 실력과 센스도 항상 높이 평가되며, Gerd Janson, Ricardo Villalobos, Hieroglyphic Being, The Orb, Young Marco 등의 트랙에 리믹스로 참여하며 화제가 되었다. 북유럽의 사이키델릭 밴드 DUNGEN, 재즈 피아니스트 Bugge Wesseltoft 의 공동 작업으로 폭넓은 음악 장르를 다루고 있다.

The Norwegian artist, Prins Thomas, presents sounds of Nu-Disco with a laid-back vibe that resembles the nature of Northern Europe. Currently, under the label of Full Pupp and Internasjona, Prins Thomas is leading the Nu-Disco scene alongside Todd Terje and Lindstrom, and has given a fresh air to the underground dance music scene with his release ‘Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas’.
Prins Thomas’ skills and taste as a DJ is always highly praised upon, and has been under a spotlight for his work on remix tracks of Gerd Janson, Ricardo Villalobos, Hieroglyphic Being, The Orb, Young Marco and many more. He range of music is widespread, evident in his collaboration with the North European psychedelic Band DUNGEN, and Jazz pianist Bugge Wesseltoft.
Known to possess all the right aspects of a DJ, Prins Thomas will take charge of MODECi’s dance floor with his 3-hour set this coming Friday.
