LAUNDRETTE is back to Tel Aviv after a long hiatus
Phi Garden, Sunday April 28th, 4PM.
We are extremely happy to come back to our beloved Phi Garden, for a long day + night B3B marathon, this time with the support of our beloved and talented friend from Kabareet club, Samira.
Our last party in Tel Aviv was supposed to be exactly on Oct 7th. We just finished our first beautiful event at the Palestinian club Kabareet in Haifa and learned the news of the attack on the way back. The weekend went from dream to nightmare in a blink of an eye. Since then, the ongoing events have been consistently dire, cruel, and soul-crushing, and It took us quite some time to gather our strength and thoughts before returning to present another LAUNDRETTE edition at Phi Garden.
We are finally back and we would like to use our voices and platform to speak out against the atrocities committed by the war-mongering Israeli government and against the unnecessary & dangerous escalation in the region. We are calling for an immediate permanent ceasefire, an end to the starvation of Gaza, an immediate hostage deal to bring them all home, a stop to the appalling attacks on Palestinian villages in the west bank by armed settlers group and an active pursuit of de-escalation.
Since day one LAUNDRETTE has believed in the unifying power & necessity of dance music and dance gatherings to call out injustices and promote resistance. We would like to urge everyone to join the call against this war, against the abandonment of the hostages and against the government carelessness about anything & everything except their own personal gain. We demand:
