- FLOW Soundsystem and Martian Moves return to the Bridge for the fourth instalment of their club series at the Bridge in Oxford. Come and join as they celebrate the launch of FLOW Records, Oxford's newest and much-needed home of dance music nestled inside Common Ground opening this Spring. After a restorative break, FLOW and Martian Moves are back, bringing the energetic and rousing dance floor sounds from some of Oxford's most trusted selectors and an exciting guest courtesy of Martian Moves: Dusty Dan. Upstairs, the emphasis is on FLOW Records' proprietor himself, Mr. Chris Barrance, who will be bringing the peak time energy from his bulging collection of 20+ years of digging treasures. Chris needs little introduction. As FLOW Records' originator, he is one of the most knowledgable and approachable selectors whom Oxford is lucky to welcome back after a 5 year hiatus in Bristol. With an understated career that boasts bookings alongside Ben UFO, Alex Downey and dubstep legends aplenty, Chris knows a thing or two about throwing down a set of well-chosen records. Expect a positively celebratory excursion of acid house, techno and bouncy trance from the Bodhisattva of Oxford's dance scene. Joined on the night by FLOW creators Lil' Cam and Wat Tyler, the FLOW Soundsystem will be tuned and purring for another groundbreaking night on Bridge's top floor. Downstairs, the Martian Moves crew are bringing the heat yet again, with headliner Dusty Dan piloting their interstellar boogie machine. Dalston’s dusty darling has established himself as a mainstay of the London scene, serving club-rattling drums, hefty bassweight and thundering energy with an ever-present sense of humour. One of the top-played artists on Rinse FM, Dan’s razor-sharp speedy dembow productions and cheeky refixes have garnered support from international heavyweights such as TSVI, Sherelle, Peder Mannerfelt and Interplanetary Criminal, while his consistently sold-out residency at Dalston Den has brought the best of underground talent to the fore. He may be dusty but there’s certainly no flies on him, and the Martian crew can’t wait to see what he’s got in store! Tickets start at £5 going up to £10 OTD. Last entry is 2am, but arrive early and come and enjoy two ecstatic dance floors to remember!
