- He earned his bachelor's in jazz piano from the Lemmensinstituut in two years and a master’s from the Artesis Conservatory in Antwerp in one. With a scholarship from the Belgian American Educational Foundation, he studied at the New School for Jazz in New York under renowned musicians. In 2007, he formed LABtrio, and by 2014, he'd launched Septych, producing notable works. One highlight was the formation of his trio in 2019 with Joey Baron, titled MiXMONK. Recently, he initiated Vice Versa, collaborating with renowned drummer Eric Mc Pherson and Berlin bassist Felix Henkelhausen.
