As we fold up our beach towels, toss those Ray-Bans in the draw and say goodbye to summer I can’t help but have a smile on my face. Why? Because after a monumental season of groundbreaking parties, cutting edge music and a whole assortment of brightly coloured balloons we have finally made it to our 2nd birthday.
It will come as no surprise to many of you that the main man himself, Jamie Jones will be heading up this years birthday celebrations. A man who has become synonymous with low satisfying baselines, dissonant yet hypnotic keyboard riffs, crisp snares and the ability to get dance-floor-goers around the world united with their hands above their heads screaming for more!

Joining Jamie in the celebrations will be Death On The Balcony, the combined forces of Mark Caramelli and Paul Hargreaves whose unique style fuses together a range of influences from Nu Disco, House, Deep Techno and everything in-between. This talented and well respected duo have notched up years of music genre experimentation between them. Their enthusiasm, dedication and passion for all things music have led to their sound becoming perfected and receiving huge popularity across the board.

As cultivators of pushing those boundaries, SONiDO would like to also announce the launch of something rather special happing in Room 2 to coincide with the birthday celebrations. Run Chamada will be hosting their official debut with none other than Peter Parker from Ninja Tune’s Fingathing coming down to headline!
Support will come from residents Jon1st & Tando’s experimental live set that seeks to showcase percussion-heavy Brazilian flavoured hiphop along side a traditional Roda performance by resident Capoeria group-Senzala. Throw in some Brazilian themed cocktails and Superfly’s amazing bar team and I think we have a winner!
