We believe in the synthesis of genres and erasing boring rules of how the music in Techno Rave should be. Our mission is to present visionary innovative extraordinary talented Techno Artists of Now. This week we have two guests from the overseas, KUMA from Malaysia and ROLANDØ HÖDAR from USA. The emergence of a new wave of techno DJs from Asia is making waves in the global techno scene, and KUMA stands as one of the most exciting artists leading the charge! Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, KUMA's signature sound is characterized by driving peak time techno with an abundance of energy and grooves, With appearances at major festivals such as ADE and having played at some of Berlin's most iconic clubs, including Sisyphos, KUMA has firmly cemented his status as one of the most exciting techno DJs to emerge from Asia in recent years. KUMA's passion for techno extends beyond the dance floor, as he also hosts his own techno radio show called Revolution Black on Frisky Radio. Running for its sixth year, the show is a testament to KUMA's dedication to the genre and his desire to share his love of techno with the world. With a steadily growing discography he has released original music on top European techno labels such as Renesanz and Prospect Records. With his exceptional talent and dedication to the genre, KUMA is definitely a name to watch in the world of techno music. ROLANDØ HÖDAR, not only a DJ, but an accomplished Producer & Remixer, Rolando has released on many national and international recognized labels, including Sleaze Records from the UK, Naked Lunch from Portugal, Unknown Territory, Nihil Young's label 'Frequenza', De-Konstrukt, Black Square Recordings, Reload Black, Funk’n Deep, and more recent Dolma Records out of France. He has DJ'd all over the country at places like 'The Great Beyond' festival in Minnesota, The Works in Detroit, Beta in Denver, The Electric Pickle in Miami to name a few and has also traveled to various parts of the world to DJ, ranging from his birthplace in Chile, to ADE last year in Amsterdam, and arguably one of his best moments, playing at the famous world renowned club WOMB in Tokyo. ROLANDO was born in Valparaiso, Chile, South America, and lived the majority of his childhood and early adult life in New York, where most of his inspiration and roots are derived from, by being fortunate enough to witness world renowned DJ's such as Jonathan Peters, Danny Tenaglia, DJ Vibe, Victor Calderone and more play at famous clubs such as Sound Factory NYC, Crobar NYC, Cielo, that inspired him to start DJing, to now producing dark and driving Techno music, which is a blend of American Techno (the groove) infused with a European style (the mechanical). Currently now he runs and operates his successful techno label AEROTEK RECORDINGS, which was founded in 2013, out of Scottsdale, AZ, as well as a label partner for the historic Dark Techno label De-Konstrukt, working close along sided Syed Raza (Subfractal) based out of NYC.
