  • Academy Nights: Vol 1 Supported by some of the best DJs in the South Asian community, Dhol Academy will be performing their first headline show! Dhol Academy have been educating in East London since 1994 and are now taking to the dance scene to show the range of what can be performed on a Dhol drum! Expect genres from amapiano, hip hop, funky house, garage, dnb, jungle all with a hint of Panjab! Dhol Academy will be performing a set which will blow your minds. On the back of their show stopping sets at Dialled In: The Park & Ahadadream’s Village Underground takeover, Dhol Academy are raising the bar even higher! MANJ Hailing from the vibrant music scene of Birmingham, UK, Manj stands as a multifaceted artist, seamlessly blending the roles of DJ, producer, and engineer. With roots deeply entrenched in the rich cultural tapestry of electronic music, Manj has carved out a distinct niche for himself, captivating audiences with his unique blend of UK Garage (UKG), Jungle, and bass-heavy beats, often infused with the vibrant rhythms of Panjabi music. One of manj's crowning achievements came with his performance at the historic Boiler Room event in Southall, a moment that marked a significant milestone in his career. His productions have garnered widespread acclaim, earning him the support of DJs nationwide and solidifying his reputation in the underground music scene. TJ East London born & bred, TJ started his musical journey with Dhol Academy. Now he’s developed into one of, if not the most talented DJ in the Panjabi community. A style of mixing & scratching which pays homage to the legendary DJ EZ, TJ is a master when it comes to keeping audiences engaged. You’ll never know what drop is coming next, but it always sounds right! 4RESH Esha Sikander AKA 4RESH is a DJ and Architect who specialises in hip hop, and is interested in the relationship between music and the built environment. 4RESH boasts an expansive hip hop vinyl collection, featuring the likes of Slum Village, Madlib, MF Doom, Nas, Public Enemy, Smif-N-Wessun to name a few, as well as original Funk, Soul and South Asian records that prompted 'sampling' in the 80s and 90s - the foundation of hip hop. 4RESH has showcased her eclectic knowledge of vinyl for the V&A Lates, Jumbi, Social Records Society, and Dialled In, and has been featured as a guest selector on NTS. She is set to play at the first South Asian stage, Arrivals, at Glastonbury this year. JAGGA Meet Jagga, the innovative DJ blending Punjabi beats with Amapiano and House rhythms. With a talent for mixing genres, Jagga's sets offer a refreshing experience that spans a wide range of musical influences. Join him on a unique musical journey where tradition meets innovation.
