Renowned for their distinct style, unwavering commitment to the scene, and immersive melodic compositions, they've forged a formidable reputation. As esteemed residents of Stereo Montreal and the masterminds behind Plaisirs Sonores Records, they stand as pioneers in defining the landscape of the global underground melodic scene. ___________________________________________ ★ Local Support: Hummingbird Hummingbird’s mission is to expand consciousness through music and create beautiful experiences that connect like-minded souls. Her music is forward-thinking and melodic, sometimes groovy and magical, other times drivingly intense. It’s a shamanic journey crafted moment by moment, led with purity of intention to take you to exactly where you need to be. Inspired to her core, she set about recharting her path and reigniting creative ambitions, leaving corporate success behind in favor of a purpose-driven life. With broad influences ranging from Boards of Canada and The Chemical Brothers to Dmitri Kabalevsky’s piano concertos, The Pixies and Johnny Cash, she’s at home in the studio, drawing on the fertile ground of classical training and an insatiable appetite for sound. Her original productions feature the same complex, driving and melodic elements as her DJ sets. Her dynamic, emotive performances are driven by relentless curation, an intuitive connection to time and space, and a palpable energy that goes straight to the heart of the dance floor. ___________________________________________ ★★ UPDATE★★ With the weather being like it's been we've made this into a daytime party. Now, onto the specifics. We've opted to host this by the lake near Belmont Harbor, weather permitting, of course. New Event Time: Saturday 12pm-8pm Everyone is welcome to join us. However, if you'd like to contribute and help cover costs such as artist fees, transportation, and equipment, you can do so by donation. If you have secured a ticket already we can consider that a donation and you'll receive free entry to a future event of your choice. You can still message us if you feel like you need a refund. Rest assured, we're committed to delivering the same electrifying sound experience you've come to expect from events like Alex Sonata & THERIO, Khen, and DJ Ruby. We will have free Hot dogs, Veggie & regular burgers available while supplies last. Exact location will be sent on the day off event.
