On the 26th of May Interlaced celebrates his new EP release ‘Totem’. An EP fusing genres like IDM, electro and techno. And taking inspiration from artists ranging from Autechre to Terry Riley. Blending all this inspiration into a signature style that is uniquely Interlaced.
Rather than just creating music, Interlaced constructs intricate worlds of symbiotic ideas and sounds, where body and brain harmonize in a mesmerizing dance. Infusing his music with hidden textures that are only noticeable through their dynamical impact on the larger structures.
During this EP release Interlaced will perform a set showcasing his influences during the making of Totem and perform an improvised liveset to show the process of how Interlaced’s Totem was created.
Litricity will support the event with a well selected arrangement of tracks and moods. His sets consist of blends between old and new Electro and Techno, with a heavy emphasis on synthesis and heavy hitting drums.
