San Francisco's newest funk, boogie, and disco party is back with another edition at the legendary El Rio on May 10th! We're running it back after January's successful edition at Club Waziema. We're hoping to build on that momentum and take this party to new heights

We got a thoroughly vetted collection of DJs on the bill, all of whom posses magisterial musical stylings. You won't wanna miss this scrumptious concoction of international funk, disco, and boogie smorgasbord.

Jaage (Party host): Currently in his DJ 2.0 era, this mixing maestro is on a mission to play every great disco and/or boogie song from every country in the world. Make sure to bring your passports when you dance to his tunes. His sets like to galivant from Ghanian highlife to Italodisco to Japanese city pop. You'll be having Shazam open the whole time during his set. He regularly spins in SF and has played venues such as El Rio, Mothership, Waziema, F8, 1015 Folsom and more.
Lord of the Rats is a selector based in the Bay Area. He co-founded the Planet Synth Collective and the Space Disco party, for which he carefully curates eclectic and leftfield tracks from all over the world, spanning multiple genres, from spacy italo-disco to all flavors of house, techno, breaks or garage, fused into cohesive, energetic sets. His taste in music was shaped by the underground music scenes in Romania, Germany, the UK and the US, and his sets often contain club edits he made of his favorite songs.
Evbot: he is on a musical journey more than 30 years in the making, beginning with cassette tapes of 80s movie soundtracks from his parents' closet to a now massive collection of disco, italo, synth pop, house, and more. As a founding member of the Planet Synth Collective, he channels retro-futuristic energy into his sets, blending a bit of the old with a bit of the new with a bit of the strange. With a trail of performances around the Bay Area and beyond, his DJ sets have been making ears and souls happy for the better part of a decade.
discoesq: She's a San Francisco-based DJ that loves all things disco and getting people to move on the dance floor. She is a resident DJ at Blackthorn where you can find her spinning on Fridays or Saturdays.
