Exploring the sounds & connections of Hip-Hop, Jazz, Broken Beat, House & Beyond." - Conduit Sound, 2024 YUNGMORPHEUS LA-based, by way of Florida rapper YUNGMORPHEUS announces his forthcoming new solo album ‘From Whence it came’ Picking up right where he left off with his prolific run of projects in 2022, releasing three other full-length collaborative projects, Up Against the Wall with THERAVADA, Slang Casino with Obijuan and Bag Talk Deluxe with Pink Siifu, solidifying his place as a prolific artist in the burgeoning underground rap scene. The album follows last year's EP Burnished Sums, which saw MORPHEUS opening his world up to multiple producers like Ezra Collective's Joe Armon-Jones, Creme and DMH. From Whence It Came builds on an already extensive catalog from MORPHEUS, whose conversational style slips between sardonic humor and intrepid observations in an instant. The new album provides a lush new patchwork of sounds for MORPHEUS to make his own, laying quintessentially smooth raps over a varied selection of West Coast G-funk, hurried drum n bass rhythms, and soul samples like the slow spin of a radio dial. MC Nelson With main support coming from MC Nelson - a rapper/poet/producer, an important voice in UK hip-hop, MC Nelson has made his mark on the Liverpool music scene and far beyond.
