For the 22nd and the season finale, we are, as always, happy and delighted to welcome friends from far and near. Having a platform like this is always bliss, but even more so when it brings your friends together—even if it means saying goodbye to some!
Regarding our first guest, the Japanese-Taiwanese DJ Yoshi Nori, we can be short. Oldschool DJ, co(owner) of the Thai label Siamnamese Twins Records and Taiwanese label Jin Records, formerly a resident at the famed Korner Club in Taipei and currently a resident at Pawnshop. Yoshi Nori is a walking legend, even more legendary when horizontal, and throughout the last two decades, he has put his stamp on the music scene in our region. As such, but equally because he is a good friend, we are happy to have him on board for seasons-end Sunday Soiree.
Our second guest, Al Burro, our favorite relic, equally a good friend, and another old-school legend from Taipei, will join Toss and Youss for a B2B2B under the Sunday Swingers Club moniker. Burro has been around for a few decades, including residences at Korner, Pawnshops, and god knows what else. Presumably, even He would not know, but your favorite organizers are keen to see what Sunday Funday knowledge Burro will bring this time.
Our final DJ guest is Moss. A long-time visitor to the NLD parties, Moss is an avid listener and DJ with a passion for a wide range of atmospheric ambient. She will present her Saigonese take on the Sunday Funday ambient for this edition, rounding out the lineup.
Finally, we want to use this edition to bid farewell to the pedagogist, who sadly will leave Saigon soon. As a good friend of ours, we are sad to see him go but happy to provide a suitable Sunday farewell.
