This Sunday night Electric invites our first new international guest and one of the most accomplished figures on the global scene.
Scottish DJ, visual artist and all around trooper, ECLAIR FIFI, has stayed on top of some of dance music’s highest peaks over the last decade and a half maintaining the pace that brought her to pirate radio at the age of sixteen.
The go-to DJ of Azeelia Banks, an early supporter of SOPHIE, the quality in her work has been reflected in residencies at SubClub, Hoya:Hoya and la Cheetah, while holding down shows on NTS, Rinse and the BBC. The Edinburgh native added another impressive string to her bow earlier this year being invited to join 2manydjs and Erol Alkan for a special set at Sónar.
All this is not to mention innumerable roles as a core member of LUCKYME, the underground imprint that helped define popular music more than once over the past twenty years.
On her own @riverrapidrecords label we find the new stars of Electro rubbing shoulders with UR heroes because beyond all these stellar associations is a DJ whose forward looking tastes have always kept the roots of this culture close to heart.
Joining our guest on Sunday is a DJ whose previous turns in Factory have counted warm up for heavyweights like Optimo and Helena Hauff. The hardest working woman in show business, it is of course, LOLZ, our very own prowling bass powerhouse. Fresh from stompers at OHM and CTM, the GASH Collective founder gets it moving early doors.
