Apocalyspo returns for our second 4 AM SPECIAL of the year. The first one back in March with WILL SAUL and MOWGLI had queues around the corner and this line-up is just as ma-hoosive and will be played out on the QUEEN OF HOXTON's brand-spanking-new FUNKTION ONE soundsystem!
Spawned from a mixture of the Jungle rave scene and the study of Classical music, MJ COLE went on to produce the classic UK Garage single "SINCERE" as well as the Mercury Award-nominated album of the same name that sold over 60,000 copies in the UK alone.
'Nuff said.

Fast-forward to 2011 and he is still at the top of his game producing, remixing and DJing at the forefront of the current Future Bass music explosion. On top of a hectic tour schedule, he carries on producing bangers for his own Prolific Recordings, while also turning out remixes for the likes of PRIMARY 1, TROUBLE & BASS, L-VIS 1990, TODD EDWARDS and the like.
We are psyched to have locked down such a legend for APOCALYPSO!
If that wasn't enough, we also have UK Bass dons GREENMONEY from A-TRACK's FOOL'S GOLD RECS. The guys have been firing up a lot of heat over recent months with big support from the likes of ANNIE MAC and FABRICLIVE and a recent club smash in the form of their "Gold Ru$h" EP on FOOL'S GOLD. Their remix discography is pretty unbelievable too, having worked their UK Bass/House/Ragga/Broken Beat magic over artists such as KANYE WEST, PROFESSOR GREEN, BUSY SIGNAL, TWIZZLE, GRAMAPHONEDZIE and loads more.
As usual we have APOCALYPSO residents DEKKER and JOHN & ON in support providing the Future House riddims.
Upstairs we get all Disco on your derrières with DAMON MARTIN from the phenomenon that is DISCO BLOODBATH (flying in fresh from Moscow, don't you know), who'll be providing a heady mix of raw disco, spaced-out italo, vintage house and proto-techno.
In support we have SLUTTY FRINGE showcasing why the blog of the same name is numero uno for all taste-makers and music scene shakers, as well as RODAIDH from XL RECS and formally of COCADISCO.
...plus of course APOCALYPSO regular MISS ODD KIDD and residents STEVE BLISS (back from a mind-bending summer of festival sampling) and FLEXMASTER throwing down pant-pooping-party-pop.
Basically, APOCALYPSO SEPT 25TH = WIN.
