The lands and waterways where The Festival is located are among the vast traditional areas of the Haudenosaunee, Esopus Lenape, Munsee Lenape/Monsiyok, and Mohican/Muhhekunneuw Peoples. We recognize and honor the enduring presence and resilience of these Nations. For thousands of years, the Native people stewarded this land.
ABOUT US:
Future Sound of Nature (FSON) blends the soul of electronic music with the rhythms of the Earth to nurture the ecosystems and communities where we live and gather. Our goal is simple: to nourish the web that interconnects us.
We are a community of artists, musicians and nature lovers, cultivating a habitat for electronic music, creative work and community events that channel the voices and sounds of nature as co-creator. We're here to help humans remember that we are all part of Earth’s beautiful interconnected web of life, and it's up to us to take care of it. WE ARE ALL NATURE!
With gratitude for the indigenous and elders who came before us, we honor the profound bond between humans and the ecosystems that we live in–creating opportunities for people to come together, get creative, and connect with the world around them. Our values revolve around the fundamental principle of REGENERATION: leaving the communities and ecosystems where we live and gather better than we found them.
