KWH
KWH is a German DJ based in Bangkok, Thailand. He originally started DJing in the forests of southern Germany more than a decade ago, serving up psychedelic and hypnotic music at forest raves and local parties.
In 2019, KWH moved to Bangkok where he began exploring different types of music. He turned from the mostly fast paced rave music he used to play to a wide range of electronic music and subgenres of IDM, downtempo, acid, house and techno. Despite these changes, he retains his passion for music that has a unique, deep and quirky sound that can effortlessly transport the listener into a trance-like state.
KWH’s passion for music extends beyond the decks. As co-owner and in charge of bookings and programming at 12x12 Bar, a popular Bangkok venue for music enthusiasts, he promotes community activities and local music culture. His efforts have helped solidify the venue’s reputation as a hideaway for music lovers, celebrated for its eclectic program and community spirit.
In addition to his solo activities, KWH is one half of the DJ duo Kaipod, who is making a reputation in Thai music venues and festivals. Their distinctive music selection has captivated audiences at events such as Karma Kastle, Karma Krachao, De Commune, Never Normal, Studio Lam and, of course, 12×12.
