ROOTS x Motsion
Join us May 17th at WORM for another collaborative event, this time with Prague-based Ukrainian collective Motsion!
Motsion, an artist collective from Kyiv, Ukraine, rose to prominence amidst the chaos of the russian invasion in 2022. Founded by AXT and Andriy K., whose combined expertise in electronic music spans over five years, Motsion’s mission is to foster community resilience during turbulent times, and they organize charitable audio-visual events that transcend borders and unite diverse audiences.
Since its inception, Motsion has orchestrated a diverse array of events across major European cities, including Berlin, Prague, Istanbul and their hometown of Kyiv; and their collaborations with collectives, radios and venues across the globe have underscored Motsion’s commitment to cultural exchange and inclusivity, blending sonic innovation with social advocacy.
The name “Motsion” itself embodies a therapeutic journey through music and nature. Guided by experimental sounds rich in texture and emotion, Motsion invites listeners on a transformative voyage, where every step reveals new dimensions of auditory experience.
