Touring around the world with her electrifying sets and being named by Mixmag as 'one of the Palestinian DJs you need to know’. Never accepting borders, she continuously challenges music genres to create unique sensual experiences while bonding music traditions rooted in the past with their contemporary reflections. In her eclectic DJ Sets, Hiba loves to navigate through the wide universe of electronic music blending the huge heritage of Arabic music with its counterparts from the planet’s southern hemisphere. Nour Nour is a versatile artist and passionate advocate whose journey over the past decade has taken her across the globe, leaving behind a trail of mesmerizing performances at renowned festivals like Fusion, Burning Man, and Tomorrowland. As a DJ and live performer, Nour has poured her heart and soul into perfecting her craft, infusing each set with a distinctive blend of electronic beats that have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Nour's journey is a symphony of creativity, compassion, and positive change, leaving an indelible mark through music, art, and the voices of resilient individuals she encounters. Nour will also be part of the panel discussion at Vega at 13:00, her video exhibit will be displayed in Krypten from 12:00 and she can also be heard at the demonstration at 16:00 earlier in the day. Safira Safira has been a driving force in the Norwegian scene, and made her self a name connecting people through music.Her style ranging from deep and dark minimal to playful and psychedelic techno, has seen her open and play alongside artists like SAMA’, Ben Klock, Grouch, Luis M, and many more. Her vision of unity continues with the development of her own cultural movement, and event concept Extra Delicious that has been creating a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform, network and develop their talent together. The past years we have seen her get booked to clubs and festivals across the world on four different continents. All of this happened after she did her first performance 8 years ago, where she realised how much joy she could give and reserve trough music. ——————— ENG / NOR / ARA Vestbredden by Night is organized as part of the solidarity festival Visit Vestbredden, on the nearest Saturday to Nakba. Join this Palestinian-themed underground event with pounding techno, dripping dance, and show your solidarity at Hausmania. Nakba النكبة, the Arabic word for "catastrophe" or "disaster," refers to the devastating events that took place during the establishment of the “State of Israel” in 1948, resulting in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes and land. This humanitarian crisis has had a profound impact on Palestinian society and politics that are still very much felt today. Both for those living under occupation and apartheid, and those unable to return to their homeland. While we recognize that Nakba is a tragic and difficult event in the history of Palestine, we believe that music and dance can be powerful tool for expressing emotions and building a strong community in a way that words alone cannot do. This event is an act of resistance against those who have sought to erase Palestinian culture and identity. With each beat, we'll honor the history and ongoing struggles of the Palestinian people, and with each step, we'll stand in solidarity against apartheid and in support of justice and equality. We invite you to join us on the dance floor to celebrate Palestinian culture and ensure that Palestinian voices and stories are heard.
