England is the country of extremes. When the phlegmatic gentlemen passionately indulged in drinking 5 o’clock tea, in decayed hangars and vacant buildings Sex Pistols or Ramones defined future idea of punk rock and war against the system. On the one side we associate England with dignity and stiffness of the Royal Family but on the other hand with uncompromisingness and absurd of Monty Python’s humor.
However, it can be clearly stated that it is hard to qualify the opinion about English music to this dissonance.
The British absorb sensitivity with mother’s milk ( or with almost constant rain?), which has always been pioneering in Europe, if not world-wide. It is hard to name any genre of music which is not dominated by the British. England is a real compositional and audio talent mine.
