- EN ---- “Satori (悟り) is a Japanese Zen Buddhist term for a sudden and ephemeral enlightenment. In the Zen Buddhist tradition, satori refers to a deep experience of kenshō, ‘seeing into one's true nature’.” You might’ve experienced this feeling watching a beautiful sunset, in front of a painting, or at the end of a poem. But for a satori to happen, you need to let it in. You need to empty everything in your thought-pool to be immersed with this feeling of fulfillment. This is what I am going to ask of you during the night. I want you to accept with open ears and arms all the sounds and lights that I am trying to produce for you. Leave your senses open and step back from your body, if you will. Can you dance for me so that you’re not thinking about anything other than this serenity right now? There’s a piece inside you that’s so pure and I just want you to have that fulfillment of seeing it face-to-face. I saw it once and I’ve been searching for it on dance floors all over. I really want you to feel this moment. The serenity of relieving all your muscles when floating on water. The calm when the raindrops hover over you. Zoom in and look at the world cells by cells. Accept that you represent an infinity, floating. Accept the meta, accept that we are all liquid bodies in constant movement, in constant interaction. Where the music crosses skins, it crosses seas. Waves crashing like cymbals. The squeaky clean traps. The dilemma of the EQ knobs pivoting right and left. I invite you to join us as we hold your hands through your quest of satori. The music is right in front, and as you dance, the rhythm comes easier by the step. Where matter seems immaterial. Your chemistry knows no bounds. Dans le Bouddhisme Zen, satori fait référence à une expérience profonde du kenshō, 'être capable de voir la vraie nature'. » Tu as peut-être ressenti ce sentiment en regardant un coucher de soleil, en face d'une peinture ou encore à la fin d'un poème. Mais pour vivre un satori, il faut le laisser t'envelopper. Il faut que tu fasses le vide en toi et que tu te laisses immerger par ce sentiment de plénitude. C'est ce que je vais te demander ce soir. Je veux que tu acceptes ce qui t'entoure, que tu gardes tes yeux et tes oreilles vigilant à tous les sons et lumières autour de toi. Sois présent, conscient de ce que ressentent tous tes sens, et observe ton corps comme s'il n'était plus le tien pendant une seconde. Peux-tu danser pour moi ? Danser pour ne plus penser, danser pour ressentir. Dancer pour cette partie de toi si pure qui te guidera. J'ai ressenti cette plénitude et je la cherche sur chaque piste de danse. Je veux que tu la ressentes. Cette sérénité, ce flottement, ce relâchement de tous tes muscles. Ce calme profond sous l'eau, ou quand la pluie tombe. Change de perspective, zoome, et regarde le monde cellule par cellule. Accepte que nous représentons une infinité de corps, flottant dans l'univers. Accepte la méta, accepte que nous sommes des corps liquides en constante interaction, constamment en mouvement, en constante évolution. Quand la musique traverse ta peau, qu'elle est capable de traverser des océans. Les vagues s'échouent comme des cymbales et les fréquences s'égalisent. Laisse-moi prendre tes mains et t'accompagner dans ta quête de satori. La musique est juste là, et pendant que tu danses, tu te laisses imprégner par ce rythme apaisant. Là où la matière devient immatérielle, il n'existe pas de limites."
