- Friday June 7th, Pobal Presents Paranoid London (LIVE), Jacq Jill, and Kade Young for a night of sonic mayhem. Making their Baltimore debut, Paranoid London is here to conjur the spirit of punk with their dynamic performance. Pulling in influences from gay Chicago House, Detroit Techno, New York Punk & New Wave, this duo of Quinn Whalley, Gerardo Delgado, plus front man Mutado Pintado (aka Clams Baker) are notorious for their special energy that transports dancers to the grimy warehouse acid parties of the 90s. DJ, engineer, curator, and all around troublemaker Jacq Jill is a staple in our Baltimore music scene. An undeniable force in the American underground queer circuit to mainstream clubs, they’re known for having some of the deepest crates, mixing driving techno to left field with ease. Knowing our system like the back of their hand at this point, expect the sonic unexpected. No stranger to our system, Kade Young’s abilities as a decknician will be on full display starting off the night. A driving force in the Baltimore underground, Kade continually leaves us with memories when gracing the decks across the city or helping grow the Balance, Midnight Club, and Minced parties. A true moment maker, we still have flashbacks to him dropping Luther Vandross Never Too Much on New Years at The Compound. We can’t wait to hear Kade deep dig into his bag for this special night.
