DJ Kwest began DJing in 2010 after developing an immense passion for music as a youngster. He started off w/ family events & house parties. Anxious to grow, he transitioned into nightclubs to study crowds closely & help him connect better with even bigger audiences. Kwest grew and transformed his unique talent at a fast pace.
His mixes in addition to scratch videos, caught attention of several local promoters & DJs. That helped establish new friendships, building valuable connections in the music industry. A partnership with DJcity & Beatsource soon followed in early 2020.
Kwest's ability to scratch in conjunction with fearlessly fusing genres, earned him notoriety for being one of the top DJs in Southern California. In 2016 Kwest earned a spot mixing on-air for 99.1 KGGI in Riverside, CA. Kwest spent the next 6 years perfecting music programming & mixing. In 2020 he was offered a weekly Saturday night slot on Pitbull's Globalization on Sirius XM. In 2022 Kwest earned the on air mixer position for the legendary "Big Boy's Neighborhood" on Real 92.3 LA, where he serves as the official DJ for the show. He is known for his lively banter and infectious energy, and has become a fan favorite among listeners.
With his impressive skills and infectious personality, Kwest has become a beloved figure in the Los Angeles music scene and beyond, inspiring and entertaining audiences with his unique blend of music and charisma. Along with rocking the LA airwaves on Real 92.3 . . . you can listen weekly on Pitbull's Globalization on Sirius XM, creating video routines, remixes & edits for DJcity, clubs & bars across the OC/LA/IE region.
