- Elevation finally return for their first dance of 2024 following on from their Cross The Tracks Festival debut on May 26th. We've been plotting and scheming for the past few months and will be taking over The Carpet Shop in Peckham. Boasting a Funktion One soundsystem , it becomes the perfect space for a 5-hour musical journey alongside our special guest Leanne Wright. What can we tell you about Leanne? Well, she has a very rich musical history spanning two decades tuned into the London underground scene; creating visual identities with the likes of Giles Peterson, Benji B, Blacktronika, Coop and others. One of our fondest memories of seeing her play was last summer at a Touching Bass event at the Fox and Firkin. Poise, composure, energy and rhythm, are some of the words that come to mind when we think about that moment, and we cannot wait for her to express herself behind the decks as you join us on the dancefloor. Expect the best in Soul, House, Latin, Dub, Afro rhythms and more. Please arrive early for to experience the full journey we are about to embark on. NO ENTRY PAST 2AM, NO PHYSICAL ID NO ENTRY!
