ROBBIE LOWE (Proton, SYDNEY)

Over a 15-year career behind the decks, Robbie Lowe has proven himself to be one of Australia’s most talented and respected Deep/Tech-House/Progressive/Techno DJ’s. If an international artist has come through Sydney over the past decade, there’s a good chance Robbie has supported them at least once. In 2008, Robbie warmed up the crowd for Tiesto’s Elements Of Life Tour shows in Sydney. At the same time he took up the reins as part Label Manager & A&R for the UK-based Beat Code & Low Pressings record company.
These new roles go hand in hand with Robbie’s new production focus – His union with Sydney progressive house producer Matt Rowan bore fruit through 2007/08 with releases on Hussle, Outta Limits and Rococo, and he’s recently tuned in another release with Rowan for Proton Music titled ‘Ground Swell’. Through 2009 Robbie continued his high profile slots, including the ‘We Love Sounds’ festival and warming up for Danny Howell’s New Years Eve Renaissance show at The Chinese Laundry.
Already in 2010, Robbie has played the Sydney leg of the Big Day Out festival, and with Steve Lawler, John Digweed and Way Out West.
Add to this a forthcoming 'Colour' EP and remix work with fellow Sydney DJ Tim Culbert, showcasing the deeper side of house music.

Michal Ruzicka, aka DJ Schwa, became engaged in music thanks to his father, who is also a musician himself as well as an owner of a recording studio in Prague. At the age of 14, dance music caught his attention mainly through Radio 1. Around this time he tried to mix his first tracks (techno in particular) from cassettes and shortly afterwards he moved to the turntables and computer.
Michal is also part of a new Sydney based electronic project called, “Shades of Gray”, with Nick West. Oliver Klein and Jurgen Dreissen signed 4 Shades of Gray tracks for their imprint PlusMinus records and in early 2009 Shades of Gray track Moog In The House reached number 6 on BEATPORT TECH HOUSE CHART and number 3 on DECKS.DE VINYL sales chart.
Schwa supported Djs/projects such as: Gui Boratto, Jimpster, Minilogue, Extrawelt, D-Nox, Propellerheads, Alex Smoke, Antix, Orbital, Chemical brothers, Steve Angello, Deepchild, Kasey Taylor, Future Sounds of London, System 7, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Heidi, Tim Green and more.
MATTTT & TOMASS (Laundry, SYDNEY)

The names Matttt and Tomass have quickly become known as two of the brightest young DJs to emerge in the Sydney scene within the past few years, with a 3DWorld cover shoot and headline story already under their belt at the ages of 21 and 22 respectively.
Despite only DJing professionally since May, 2006, the two of them have already appeared alongside and supported names like Stefan Bodzin, Lee Burridge, Claude Von Stroke, Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Trentemoller, Marc Romboy, Desyn Masiello, Alan Braxe, Kris Menace, Stanton Warriors, Tom Neville, Malente, Jesse Rose, Bjorn Wilke, Ewan Pearson, Coburn, Hybrid, Shlomi Aber and the cream of Australia¹s local DJ crop.
They have held residences at some of Sydney¹s biggest club nights including Kink at the Arthouse, and are currently holding down a weekly spot in the Cave at the Chinese Laundry.
They have also played a diverse range of underground parties including Lost Baggage, Spice, Bread & Butter and Sweetchilli. Their sound spans many genres, crossing the boundaries of deep house and techno, and they are at home whether kicking off the night in a club or bringing it to a close.
