  • The summer may be over but the Zumbido is still going and we’re looking forward to our first party of October! This time we’ve got a slightly more techy session in mind as we’ll be joined by a special guest Confetti Bomb – the owner of a respectable UK techno label Autoreply and its sister imprint Stuga Musik. The line-up will be complete with Zumbido residents Russell Wayne & Sim delivering a whole variety of groovin’ tech house & techno. Since its humble incarnation in 2007, Autoreply has climbed up through the ranks and is now a firm fixture on the international stage. Not merely content with the usual by-the-numbers approach of fusing house and techno, Autoreply has forged a stronghold in an overcrowded market, gaining respect from some of the most influential members of today's electronic music scene. A policy of releasing music from new or up and coming producers alongside established acts has been a key feature in the label's success, with appearances from Baby Ford, Jerome Sydenham, Pier Bucci and Mark Henning alongside the raw talent of Ed Davenport, Confetti Bomb, JUG and Ben Rourke. Confetti Bomb himself has been actively involved in the UK house & techno scene for over 10 years. As well as a DJ, live performer, radio presenter & clubber he is also know for his behind the scenes work as a buyer for Juno Records and more recently as Juno’s deep house, minimal & dubstep podcast host. Russell Wayne's musical background and unique style lets him work the crowd from the very first record he slams on, pick up the pace and to keep 'em there. What's his secret? Russell has that innate ability to know exactly which tune is going to tear the roof off and send the crowd into a frenzy. He's been DJing on and off for many years. Since 2000 he has played at various commercial and underground warehouse parties for promotions such as Eargazmic, Trance Unite, BodyMove, Breakfast and many more. He has recently been signed to Amor Digital with his first release (Resurrected) which is in a more trancey style - check it out at Trackitdown.net Siimo Raba aka Sim comes from Estonia although for the past 6 years he's been based in London, where he splits his time between working for Juno Records, writing jacking house & techno music plus helping out behind the scenes at the HQs of UK record labels Autoreply, Ornate & Stuga Musik. His remix of Nathan Coles & David Coker's "Do You Know" was recently released on 12" by Ornate Music. Behind the decks he usually serves up the more deephousey stuff but depending on the needs of the crowd, there's always room for adjustment. Don't forget to check us out at soundcloud.com/zumbido where we post podcasts & mixes by our artists & DJs. Lots of love & see you on the floor!! zx
