His first officially released mix CD was voted by Resident Advisor at #2 of the decade's best mixes. The Button Down Mind of Daniel Bell (Tresor 2000) became a cult among the initiated and instilled the idea that through less there was possibly more to the dancefloor.
In 2000, before every DJ and their dog had the same epiphany, Daniel moved to Berlin and truly established himself not only as a world citizen but as an artist pivotal in the development of the future of dance music.
