Seth Troxler has described Nicolas Jaar as “one of the most talented minds dance music is about to see develop”, and since his appearance on Troxler’s Aphrika EP on Wolf + Lamb Nico’s reputation has soared. His track ‘Time For Us’ (another release on Wolf + Lamb) has been one of the most talked about tracks of 2010 and was chosen by Seth Troxler to close his Boogybytes mix CD. Another 12’’ for Circus Company and remixes on BPitch control and Get Physical have further cemented Nico’s reputation for bold, idiosyncratic releases, and his forthcoming debut LP is sure to cement his standing as one of the most accomplished, unconventional and unique producers to emerge in recent times.
As one half of Wolf + Lamb Gadi Mizrahi is behind one of the most talked about DJ partnerships and record labels to come out of New York in the past decade. Established in 2005, Wolf + Lamb has prided itself on being the home to fresh and exciting talent, releasing records by the likes of Seth Troxler, Nicolas Jaar, Shaun Reeves and of course Wolf + Lamb themselves. The Marcy Hotel - their club, home, and production studio - attracts artists from all over the world. All in all, Wolf + Lamb have that rare talent of producing and releasing music that is both achingly hip and completely essential at the same time. The debut Wolf + Lamb album just dropped to widespread acclaim and Gadi himself has recently been responsible for solo releases on Simple, Double Standard and Spectral Sound. He was awesome when he played for us in September so we just had to have him back!
Joining Nicolas Jaar and Gadi will be the Warm residents, Ali Tillett and Rob Summerhayes, and Phonica DJs Simon Rigg & The Vangelis.
