Loosekaboose welcomes back the trio Luke Mynott, Adam Zielonka and Andrew Maher, that form ALPHATOWN for their third installment at loose-your-kaboose. These Sydney lads have been writing and performing together for over 15 years, carving out their own unique musical niche in the process. Their sound manages to be both psychedelic and streetwise, obscure and impossibly catchy - there's nothing quite like it but it's all designed... with boogie in mind. The legendary, pulsating Alphatown live set blurs the boundaries between electro, house and techno, and has reduced many a dancefloor to smithereens. The rare-as-hen's-teeth releases on the band's humble little imprint, Room To Manoeuvre Records, are ravenously consumed by DJs from Tokyo to Chicago, Berlin and back again.

Alphatown will be joined by ace veteran PHIL SMART of the Junkbeats Collective. Being twice voted into DJ Magazine's prestigious list of the worlds Top 100 DJs, Phil has played along side Michael Mayer, M.A.N.D.Y., Adam Freeland, Sven Vath, Derrick Carter, Sasha, John Digweed and Jose Padilla. He has played at the premier events around Australia including Love, Sabotage, Tweekin, Mad Racket, Chinese Laundry, Home [Sydney], Honkytonks, Revolver, 161, [Melbourne], Empire (Brisbane] and national festivals such as Good Vibrations, Vibes On A Summers Day, Field Day, Big Day Out, Falls Festival, Global Carnival and Splendour In The Grass.

MAGDA will make her Loosekaboose debut and has been turning heads in the underground scene of late, she spins a bit-o-vinyl and a bit-o-cds, she plays at Local Institution HAHA and runs her own night JACK along-side Mark Murphy at the Polo Lounge. She’s into Francois Kevorkian, Herbert, Rhythm and Sound; Mark E and plays anything spanning disco (old and new), house of all kinds, and the odd bit of right proper techno when the moment strikes!
Guests are supported by the Loosekaboose residents JIMI POLAR (Future Classic) and TRINITY (Pinksilver).
