After 2 years, 712 days, 104 weeks (plus or minus), LO-FI has hit the terrible twos just in time for the All Hallows Eve. That’s right, it’s that time of the year (again!) where the ghosts and ghouls come out to play, but this time round, they’re out in pairs.
Appropriately headlined by a pair by no means strangers to Singapore, last showing up in 2009 for Heineken’s Green Room Sessions, the bastions of bounce, assassinators of fakers, Act Yo Age, make their second coming at Home Club for a night of raucous frolicking and flirtatious fun.
Another man who needs little introduction, Lush 99.5FM’s very own DJ Mentor (aka Chris Ho), joins the LO-FI residents Ming, Kurt and Kian, offering a concise two-hour journey through the club-scape of Singapore. From Rock to Indie, through to Electro and House, Techno and Dubstep, to Disco and Drum & Bass, when it comes to the dance floor - anything goes!
With past guests ranging from DMC champions, such as Craze & Klever, Kid Fresh & Rafik, to Indie Rockers, such as Al Doyle (Hot Chip), Steve. S (Soulwax), to rising stars like Solo (UK) and Treasure Fingers, LO-FI, graced with the personality of a bi-polar alcoholic, has proved to be a night of uninhibited, unrestricted dance floor mayhem. And, to celebrate in true HOME CLUB fashion, what would a party be without a free alcohol?
In the spirit of Halloween (quite literally) the first 5 groups of ten or above get a bottle of 42 below and one mixer, on the house. And for all in costume, reach the club before the stroke of midnight for free entry and have a drink, on us!

Judged by Act Yo Age, the most creative duo stand to win a pair of shoes each (courtesy of LEFTFOOT), X-Minis, and a bottle of champagne!
With extra drinks for the runners up, everybody’s a winner. Watch out for our HOME scouts giving out alcoholic prizes throughout the night!

Bastions of bounce, assassinators of fakers, Act Yo Age are in the building.
Straight outta Sydney, Act Yo Age, aka Tim Collins & Adam Stivala’s sound has an Interracial House music ease, sleazy all the way with plenty of jacked-out Bass. Together, AYA brings a wealth of musical experience, with fifteen years between them, and a love for all things rumbly - nothing less than murder on the dance floor.
With labels like Southern Fried Records & Sweat It Out Music to call ‘home’ its no small feat these wonder-boys have gathered a harem of fans as the releases have hit the shelves.
Original productions such as “Love from Below” (Southern Fried), “Night of the Hornheadz” (Sweat it Out) have created a buzz amongst fans on multiple continents, teaming up at times with acts like Drop the Lime, DCUP, Savage Skulls and more - on the remix action. AYA have added their unique remix style to tracks featuring artists such as Crookers, Malente, Arrested Development, Acid Kids & more, showcasing their aureal diversity.
Having recently joined the Jackmode Agency, the past few years has been a crazed whirlwind of International hijinx, flashing lights, new travels & amazing crowds. Look sharp, Act Yo Age will continue pushing their sound out the gate & into the bass-bins of a club near you.
