DJTUNES.COM is proud to present: EUROPE CALLING at OPIUM GARDEN 2007-03-21. After our successful party in 2006, DJTUNES.COM returns to the 2007 WMC and will rockout with the most talked about European artists, all in one place. This years venue is the amazing OPIUM GARDEN in Collins Ave. 136.
Room 1 will feature House Music’s biggest names of the last years: Basement Jaxx and Robbie Williams remixer Kurd Maverick (you surely remember his WMC 2006 super buzz “The Rub”), joined by the most internationally respected German producer in 2006, Eddie Thoneick – making his WMC debut after setting the world on fire with his European Chart Toppers “Love Sensation” and “Deeper Love”. France ’ greatest Antoine Clamaran, Radio FG Resident and the man behind Pool E Music will join us with his radiant energy and give you an idea of what French house music is all about. Antoine will be followed by his fellow countyman David Vendetta, recognized as the shooting star in French house music and mostly respected for his productions and remixes for Roger Sanchez, Sander Kleinenberg and many more. We have also confirmed the appearances of two true dance music pioneers, Groove on Music Head George Morel and Miximized mastermind Eddie Amador. They will be followed by Germanys ’ wildest, Tube & Berger, owners of KittBall Records and chart toppers with their title “Straight ahead”. Truly, WMC won’t ever forget their debut set in South Beach as well as their upcoming tune “The young and the wild ones”. And if that weren't enough to lighten up this night, we have the Housesession Masterminds Tune Brothers, Chriss Ortega, surely one of Europe’s most observed Remixers and Producers over the last months and last but not least, UK N° 1 producers, the Mashup Kids, presenting their new single “Love u”.
Room 2 will be hosted by Oliver Moldan, not only the heaviest tattooed DJ you’ve ever seen, but also clearly recognized as one of the world leaders in tech and progressive house, looking back on countless releases on labels like bedrock, superstar and audio therapy. He will be joined by Italia’s greatest, Fuzzy Hair and the mysterious Roman Salzger, both currently leading all the download charts on this planet with their hard edged electro house releases. Swen Weber’s debut release “First stroke” (in cooperation with John Aquaviva) took the world by storm in late 2006 and fired him into the international top league of producers and remixers within only a few months. On the 21st he will surprise you with laptop based DJ Set including all his latest works. Patric la Funk, Europe ’s remix monster of the young 2007 will take on the wheels to set up a new definition of electro house. This guy put his hands on the tracks of Deep Dishs’ Sharam, Dave Spoon, Noir, Hi Tack, Steve Angello to name just a few. In Addition we have Juliet Sikora, Germanys best looking DJane and Manager at buzzing Opaque Music, Stephan M, another French rising talent with releases on Opaque Music, Nero, Blow media to name just a few. And to round off this unparalleled line up we could confirm Miami ’s Top Resident DJ Pedro (recent international chart success with “ Queen Vs The Miami Project “, Dr Flash & The Joker " in the air " ), celebrated for his crowd-pleasing sets at Nikki Beach, Mansion and all other known places in this beautiful city.
