Polymath aka Martin Gowans is a 24 year old up and coming producer, remixer and dj coming from the capital of the Highlands.
The Polymath project is now just over a year old but already he has had a debut ep on MMAN recordings, a remix for the Young Punx released on Mofo hifi records and a remix for Decalicious on Guys n Dolls records out on the 11th of October. Polymath has also had a massive ongoing Radio 1 support from Kissy Sellout, Jaymo & Andy George amongst many other djs whom are respected around the globe.
Polymath's next full ep will be released on the fresh new Glasgow imprint 3rd Abstract records and is titled 'Volta ep' which contains 4 massive electro bangers which are sure to cause mayhem on the dancefloor.
Dersonna aka Iain Anderson is the best of a new breed in underground and minimal techno. Having only been producing for 2years Dersonna has already had releases on Couture Records, Voodoo Digital, BWG Records plus many more and with a full length album being released on 3rd Abstract Records in 2011 this Scottish producer/dj is one to be watched. His outstanding live sets have only resulted in greatest of things, with packed gigs taking places throughout the UK aswell as in Ibiza...Dersonna we love you!
This Techno duo have been putting out their fresh sound all around Scotland and have left their mark in many major clubs. Their monthly mixes are being listened to by a large community of Techno lovers who have supported the pair on their ventures all around the country. Having supported big acts in the industry such as Chris Liebing, Armin Van Buuren, Sebrof, Eric Sneo and Marco Bailey they have proven their capability to keep the dance floor alive to the early hours. Thomas Back & Gibbtek have also worked together on their productions with a number of releases already out on Full Tilt, BCR and Das OHR Digital labels. And the future is set to become a lot more exciting with the recent launch of ‘Midimal Records’ where the pair are working with David Forbes and others to bring together what’s shaping up to be Glasgow’s factory for Techno!
