With live cabaret performances, music and DJS, revellers will be transported back through the mists of time to a London where dangers lurked on every street corner and murderers haunted Scotland Yard. Guests will enter a restored Victorian warehouse transformed into a mysterious shrouded land complete with a London dungeon, and enjoy a cabaret reception with performances by the heroes and villains of the past. This will be the first time that Winterwell’s Halloween party has been built around interactive theatre and there will be a Victorian stage set complete with actors playing a whole host of nineteenth century characters such as: Jack the Ripper, Jekyll and Hyde, Sweeney Todd, Sherlock Holmes and even Miss Haversham. Guests will be encouraged to participate in a range of dastardly activities; from a visit to Dr Jekyll’s lab to being shaved by Sweeney Todd. Only the bravest of the brave will be able to face certain perils, such as eating an infamous pie from Mrs Miggins’ kitchen.
Dress to the nine....teenth century.
No Winterwell event would be complete without lashings of fancy dress, and this Halloween will be no different. Think top hats and bodices, canes and stockings. Maybe not together, although thinking about it...
You're in Victorian London, and the streets are mean, but for every masked thief, mad doctor and baby farmer there has to be a good guy, doesn't there? Decide whether you are going to be a force for good, or evil. We're sure Sherlock Holmes and his loyal chimney sweeps would appreciate a helping hand...
