Experience the original spirit of BERLIN HOUSE MUSIC at Barasti Beach on SATURDAY October 30th 2010.
Start the evening with DJ L-Masri’s unique mix of experimental electronic compositions with a world music twist.
Later on, enjoy DJ Clé and DJ Terrible, two DJs, who are part of the legendary Berlin “Washing Machine” parties and who played in all the famous Berlin clubs such as E-Werk, Tresor and Chacha.
The event takes place in cooperation with Volkswagen Middle East, German National Tourist Office, Air Berlin, JamJar Gallery, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Teekanne and Barasti Beach.
DJ L-Masri performed live in New York (2009), the Liverpool Arts Festival (2008), the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, (2006) and throughout various venues in Berlin (Pfefferberg, Golden Gate) and Germany. Beside DJing, his passion is creating scores for TV and film. He worked with production studios and recording basements in Berlin and London, at post-production houses and corporate head offices in Los Angeles and New York. In the Middle East he performed on corporate venues, composed and remixed music for MBC TV.
DJ Clé has regularly worked as a DJ on the mixer. He played at Berlin's legendary "E-Werk" and worldwide.
In 1997, he co-founded the Electro-project Märtini Brös, celebrating 2002 with the album "Pläy". They earned international success and toured the entire world.
Clé remixed for Soffy O. and Toktok, 2raumwohnung, Tocotronic, Louie Austen, Hans Nieswandt and Gabriel Ananda. In 2004 Clé and his partner produced on Monika Kruses Label "Electric Avenue" the CD "Cruising".
From 2006, Clé again reinforced his solo releases ( "duplex", "Nomads" in collaboration with Steve Bug labels, EP "Silicon Ballet", the Clé Pokerflat-Label compilation "Dead Man's Hand”)
DJ Terrible started DJ-ing in 1986, 1988 he moved to Berlin. After playing in the ChaCha, WMF, Tresor and E-Werk, he soon started to bring the new Sound of Berlin - House, Acid, Techno, Chill Out - to the world. Today he is DJing for the weekly "ZDF-NEO" TV-Music-show, runs his own studio in Berlin-Mitte and publishes on his own label "from town".
Barasti Beach Resident RICHIE KIDD will heat up the sand and close off the night the way he only knows how.
