- For those who know me for quite some time have probably been to one of my birthday blasts!! Last year I had it together with Akie from Lo*kee and we had over 350 people for a party organised in 2 days!! This year it couldnt have been different. I normally gather together my friends, the artists and promotions I am somehow in partnership with and my lovely crowd... put that all together for a night to remember, the soul of the London scene. We are back at the Toi Toi home, where we were born.... where we are free and nobody never did and will never try to stop us partying!! There is a lot in the plate for you, between live and dj sets we have Lo*kee, EssentialReload (Mean and Serialism), Half Baked, the Toi Toi homies and as we couldnt go without surprises, a very special guest from Switzerland- ST. PLOMB LIVE!! "St Plomb is a cheeky bastard" wrote journalist P. Sherburne, referring to the versatility of St Plomb's mixes. No rules, no kitchen books, but an addiction to the groove : No wonder since he started as a funk-rock drummer, before exchanging his sticks for a pair of turntables and a sampler. But he kept the funk though, as a main ingredient of his production, so that his tracks, his DJ and live sets, as much as his compositions for contemporary dance shows have been making their way since the early nineties to ?nd their own ?avour. Breast fed with free jazz, funk, african music, reaggae and gospel, he's constantly aiming at recreating this lost 70's heaven in modern out?ts, the eternal disco utopia : liberty, sound quality, challenging uncompromised selection and free love for all...
