- The 1st of November spells the release of Polymath’s debut ep Volta, on fresh new Glasgow label ’3rd Abstract records’. To celebrate this glorious happening we will be throwing an ep launch party at Cake nightclub in Inverness on Saturday the 6th of November. Easing you into the evening will be local funk doctor and Disco loco resident Butterscotch, who will be pressing the ignition switch on a box of special blend super funk breaks and disco cuts to warm up the night in style. Next up is Audiolife founder, Evolve resident and tech house big hitter Alan Macpherson, upping the ante with authority and blasting the best tech house bangers around. Alan is followed by the epic soundscapes of live electronic duo We see aliens, perfectly blending the hypnotically ethereal and commanding dance floor stomp. We then set phasers to stun and hit warp factor 10 as the legendary Polymath takes to the stage to play the headline slot, dropping tracks off the new EP plus a veritable armada of epic face melters from the finest producers known to man. To finish off the night we have special guest and Polymath label mate, Glasgow’s Dersonna, deftly dishing out the big hitting techno jams to finish the night in a grandiose celebration of bass
