CIRCUS AUDIO – THE MELBOURNE SIDE SHOW
Its a two ring CIRCUS of German AUDIO freaks!!! The German tech cognoscenti, headed by EXTRAWELT, will invade Mebourne for the Official Subsonic Sideshow, Circus Audio.
There will be no relenting in the aftermath of Sydney’s premier electronic music showcase, the Subsonic Music Festival. The weekend after the festival, the party rolls into Melbourne on Friday December 10 for an official Subsonic sideshow, Circus Audio, co-presented by SUBSONIC, BITCH ENGINE, MIXED MESSAGES and TRIBEADELIC.
Circus Audio is set to be a mini-festival in its own right held over two floors at Room 680. The crown jewel on the night will be an exclusive Melbourne performance from the prized German duo EXTRAWELT, the tech pioneers who are renowned for productions that have been released on the COCOON and BOREDER COMMUNITY labels. This will be the only performance outside of the Subsonic Music Festival.
The German motif will be bolstered by the presence of Highgrade’s JENS BOND has earned a reputation around Berlin for his closing sets at Watergate nightclub. Fellow Berliner TURMSPRINGER(founder of the Tonkind Record label with releases on Get Physical) is hugely respected by those who ‘know their stuff’ (that means you, right?). His nights at Golden Gate club in Berlin are known as some of the most twisted and forward thinking. He’s often reffered to in Berlin as one of the ‘Berlin Hero DJs’.
As if that’s not enough, a selection of some of the foremost underground talent from Sydney and Melbourne will be throwing down as well on a night that has all the makings of Subsonic: mark 2.
