Tayo's Tracksuit party is back... teaming up with Tiger Beer, who continue their series of 8 NOTKNOWN events.
We are bringing in extra sound, have persuaded the Book Club to get a late licence until 4am, and are giving away FREE TIGER BEER to all our guests for a one off party that promises to channel the spirit of the 80's New York block party.
We thought we'd open out the dress code to include all that is fly - 80's b boys, disco divas, lycra ladies (and lycra lads too if you're brave enough) and of course the standard sports casual, Nylon Stylin.
And that's not even the half of it. In keeping with the Tiger Beer theme of "Curiosity Being Rewarded", and our own Block Party idea, there will be B Boy Pinatas all around the venue - bash the cardboard beatbox, trainer, or set of decks and get either a face full of glitter, toys, or if you're lucky a golden drinks ticket for you and your mates to party with all night... you'll never know unless you try.
We have upfront copies of the amazing Def Jam Rapstar in the bar upstairs, and will showing the 1986 Spike Lee joint "She's Got To Have It".
