- This past year at The Hoxton Pony we have seen some of the best up and coming and established acts performing exclusive DJ Sets for us such as Paloma Faith, The Specials, The Libertines, Everything Everything and more. NYE is the biggest party night of the year and we have the biggest line up around to see you into the New Year in true Hoxton Pony style. HOT CHIP DJ SET (Joe Goddard) Hot Chip are one of the biggest and best party bands around. With 4 amazing albums under their belt and more in the pipeline we could think of better act to help us see in the New Year. Expect a fun filled party set from Hot Chip's synth king Joe Goddard. FOALS DJ SET (Edwin Congreave) Mercury Prize nominated Foals are one of the most important British bands of the past decade, and with only 2 studio albums under their belt, that is quite an achievement. Foals' Edwin Congreave is heading down after the bands Kentish Town Forum Headline show to party with us afterwards. Expect a high energy set of Disco and party classics. ROY ROVELLI Roy is not only one of the best DJs we've had at The Pony this year, but quite simply one of the best and most in demand DJs in the world. Roy has performed sets for the likes of Puff Daddy, Eminem, 50 Cent, Bruce Willis and Busta Rhymes to name but a few. 2010 saw Roy flying all over the world performing exlcusive sets in places such as the Dominican Republic, Santorini and Ibiza. SAM YOUNG 2009 saw him become the first European DJ to be signed to the prestigious US agency SKAM and with them he toured the States earlier in 2010 before hitting Miami for the Miami Winter Music Conference (where he headlined at LIV & Rok Bar). Sam is an ambassador for Red Bull (entertaining the crowds at their Monaco Grand Prix party twice now) and for Adidas (which saw them collab on a pre Brit Awards party earlier this year). Sam has played Royal Weddings (Freddie Windsor) to rock superstar's birthday bashes (Elton John) to Film Premieres (Sex and the City and The Golden Compass) to opening concerts for ultra hip acts like Hot Chip and Wiley.
