- Once again down_under will host NYE @ Silo !! For this occasion, Silo will be open from 23.00 till 11.00, a 12hours dance marathon where you can party far into 2011. Expect to hear some of the best dj's in the Belgian underground house and techno scene, all under one roof at Silo. This time with a very special international guest added to the bill, MARTINEZ, one of Moon Harbours greatest artists. We’re extremely happy to welcome... back Martinez for our NYE party and can’t wait to have him back at Silo where he’ll be keeping the crowd going with his deep rolling house and techno sound. A new years eve party not to be missed! MARTINEZ (3H SET) Towards the end of 2006 Martinez's music taste and productions began to develop in new directions again and he ventured deeper into his love for the minimalistic techno oriented sounds. More stripped down and focused on fewer sounds. After a while in the studio experimenting with this sound he launched a new label called: “Re:connected”, an output for Martinez's more minimal and techno oriented productions. Martinez's first two releases on Re:connected exploded and were highly supported by major international DJ’s such as: Richie Hatwin, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Loco Dice and Miss Kittin. His last album on Moon Harbour Records, The Paradigm Shift, bedame another testament to his talent both as a producer and a DJ. Along with impeccable taste, Martinez has given him a strong DJ reputation worldwide. He's often seen in the booths of various quality clubs and parties around the globe. He’s played together with major DJ's such as Michael Mayer, Miss Kittin, Guido Schneider, Onur Özer, Loco Dice & Sven Väth, in clubs such as Weetamix in Geneva, Amnesia & Space in Ibiza, Raum in Barcelona, Cocoon and Robert Johnson in Frankfurt and Panorama Bar in Berlin, to name a few. ======================================================================================= DJ CONTEST INFORMATION Down_Under looks for a young talent to to warm up the crowd and to play a fully packed Silo right into 2011. So if you love that typical underground sound from down_under, and if you are dreaming of playing for a top crowd in a top club? Get yourself behind your decks now, because this might be your chance!! We are looking for a 60 min. WARM UP mix that fits into the style we bring with the party. Are you up for it?
