Bang the Box, Lovebox's heavy-duty speaking melting dance party is back and with a fresh direction; kicking off the new year with two club events at XOYO / Shoreditch.
The parties will run on the first Saturday of February and March, marking a new era for the festival’s re-vamped Friday curated by Bang the Box.
Exclusively launching our first BANG THE BOX club night of 2011 we take the party to XOYO, the main room will be hosted for a official Ed Banger Records party forming the London leg of their european tour with DJ Mehdi and head honcho Busy P taking control and representing the legendary pioneering Parisian label all night long.
Last years sold out events at the Coronet reached legendary status, this time they return for a winter season session in a more intimate setting and have gathered their favourite newcomers, added a couple of old-timers, mixed them together and cooked the best holiday electronic dish for their forthcoming compilation "Let The Children Techno"
So expect a night full of fresh unreleased new music down and up-tempo, love and dub-step, warm and cold-beats, and more international than Jesus. Just like the season.
FACT Magazine and Lovebox DJs Hot Blood will be in full effect in room 2.
