Lukas Greenberg [Plastic City, Berlin] Lukas Greenberg definitely is no newcomer in the electronic music scene. He started his career in the early 90ies as a hip hop dj, become 1994 a techno & house dj and played at famous venues like the tresor, 90Grad and KitKat. Quite a lot residencies and years of dance floor experience brought him to own productions which he started on an Atari Mega 2. He founded his label "Synphon Records" and received remix requests from Peter Schilling amongst others. It's easy to see that after more than ten years in the business his musical background is based on a broad variety of influences and styles – so is his music and what else than Plastic City could be the perfect platform for the height of his creativity. With his first album “Rhode Stories” Lukas Greenberg received a lot of attention and convinced the critics (e.g. “Rhode Stories” was record of the month in Raveline). The mixture of house, easy listening, electro and downbeat combined with soulful vocals and spoken words opened a new chapter of relaxed and at the same time still deep sound on Plastic City. Mat Playford [Social Problem / Weirdo Police] To date, the list of studio collaborators Mat has worked with includes Darren Emerson, Tim Deluxe, Paul Woolford, Drizabone, Sandy Rivera, Angel Moraes, Robert Owens, Shelley Poole,Tom Gray Pete Herbert, Clive Henry and Steve Kotey. Testament to the scope of his approach being far and wide. Throughout all of this, Mat has been djing and can claim opening for Masters at Work, Sandy Rivera, Nic Fancuilli, Roger Sanchez, Junior Vasquez, Paul Woolford and at venues such as the The End & Ministry Of Sound in London, Red Drum in Helsinki and many more globally. The scope of Mat's musical trajectory with his sets takes in all manner of house from deep New York-style tracks to the contemporary modern european style that has been so prevalent of late. Mat is currently a resident at We Love Space (Ibiza).
