Hot on the heels of December's 2-day Winter Festival MAGIC WAVES presents the first of a new monthly club-night in London!!!
The first one will take place on January 21st at Visions Video in Dalston and the entry fee is set at the very reasonable rate of just five pounds a head...

we are very proud to bring back to London one of Rotterdam's hottest producers and DJs since 1979, Rick Van Breugel aka ELECTRICK DRAGON. Having released hundreds of records over the past quarter-century under an incredible range of aliases, Rick is finally starting to get some of the recognition he's long deserved outside of his home country with his latest project ELECTRICK DRAGON. With an EP freshly out on the wonderful Moustache Records that was surely one of last year's best electro-disco records, we can't wait to witness him in action live once again. Those who saw him at our first festival are still talking about it. Get ready for carnage on the dancefloor!

Meschi began music at 11 when he learned how to play jazz piano and guitar and progressed through his early teenage years with his first set of turntables and a few records. This rapidly grew into a collection encompassing all kinds of music. From techno to soul, house to afro-beat, soundtracks, disco, acid, ambient and more.
Meschi is now cemented as London's 24 year old house vunderkid, having played a full live set at Stay Plastic in Glasgow and Magic Waves festival in London which was met with massive acclaim from the underground music community. He gets massive support on Soundcloud from house legends like Neville Watson and Rick Hopkins and has tracks coming out on a Cyberdance and a Lunar Disco compilation in early 2011 as well as a full length EP on Lunar Disco later in the year.
On the 21st Meschi gives us a long overdue DJ set that will leave the trainspotters scratching heads and the party lovers worn out at knees...
